Governor Pritzker has closed all schools in Illinois for in person instruction for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year. The following remote learning plan will be utilized through the rest of the school year,
Remote Learning Plan
By Executive Order 2020-15, the Governor empowered the Illinois State Board of Education to make Emergency Rules concerning Remote Learning and give guidance on remote learning. You can access the ISBE Remote Learning Recommendations During COVID-19 Emergency March 27, 2020 Final Draft on the ISBE website.
Our e-Learning plan was previously approved by the Lake County Regional Office of Education.
Given this new Executive order, and with the State’s issuance of Emergency Rules on Remote Learning, NSSED is adopting our e-Learning Plan as our Remote Learning Plan. Please note that the Remote Learning Plan may be amended by the district Superintendent as we learn together how to work in these unprecedented times.
