Activity Description: In the world of speech and language, SLP's are the evaluators and interventionists to all articulation and language based disorders. Given the high number of referrals and workloads, our colleagues are wondering how do SLP's fit it all in? To help in answering this question, district SLP's will engage in a structured discussion surrounding referral processes at their own buildings, as well as develop exit and entrance criteria for various speech-language disorders.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify various referral processes among districts.
  • Discuss exiting and entering criteria for Speech-Language services.
  • Study varying problem solving forms.

PD Hours: 2.0 hours

Registration: 8:00 am to 8:30 am; Session: 8:30 am to 10:30 am

The meeting will take place in the Community Room in Skokie School
