The NSSED Parent Education Series On Transition: Funding, Housing and Employment helps families learn and understand their options for supporting their child outside of the school system. After the school years, parents become the main advocate (case manager) for their child, so it is important to learn about the options that are available to create a set of supports in the community. These two hour workshops are free and open to the community.
Questions can be directed to Susan Hans, NSSED Parent Mentor at (831) 5100 x 2228 (firstname.lastname@example.org).
We will revisit the framework presented in the first session and provide the group an opportunity to ask questions and share thoughts and ideas.
