Through participation in this program, refresh your skills to identify different behavior levels that an agitated individual may experience from anxiety to a physically aggressive crisis situation. Through the CPI framework, you will focus and reflect on how you utilize proactive strategies, de-escalating strategies for low-level behaviors, practice physical intervention techniques for aggressive behavior, and make a strong plan for strategies to repair and problem solve after a crisis situation.
Only those who are currently certified in Nonviolent Crisis Prevention Intervention may attend this session.
Due to new ISBE regulations, we are no longer able to offer PD Credit Hours for NVCI Refresher Classes.
