Intended Audience: General Educators, Special Educators, Social Workers, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists and other school personel

Description: Executive Functioning is more than organization, but what is it?  This professional learning opportunity will give us an introduction, with an opportunity to dive deeper into potential activities and supports for developing executive functioning skills.

Learning Objectives: At the end of this workshop Participants will state:

  • I can understand executive functioning through child development
  • I can explain sub skills of executive functioning
  • I can identify the sub skills of executive functioning in my student (s)
  • I can learn tools and strategies to implement and facilitate functional independence of executive functioning categories at the elementary level

PD Hours: 6.0
Registration/Coffee: 8:00 am to 8:30 am
Session: 8:30 am to 3:30 pm

Any person with with a licence through Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) is required to enter their Illinois Educator Identification Number (IEIN) when registering for this class. You can find your number by logging into the Educator Licensure Information System (ELIS)
