Presenter: Laura Swanick, M.S. Ed, provides instructional technology coaching to NSSED programs and districts, and is NSSED's DLM alternate assessment district test coordinator.
Intended Audience: Staff who have given the DLM alternate assessment before and who need to complete the refresher course
Activity Description: During this session we will view videos related to the Dynamic Learning Maps (DLM) alternate assessment, discuss as a group suggestions for planning/giving the test as well as questions/concerns, and finally, complete the corresponding online tests. By doing this, participants will receive a certificate of completion from DLM-AA and will be able to administer the test once it goes live in March. Those who attend MUST 1) have given the DLM-AA before, 2) have a login to the testing Moodle site, and 3) have a computer on which they can login and take the tests. If you are new to DLM,-AA please contact your DLM-AA district test coordinator as you will need to complete a more involved training program online and this refresher course is not for you. NOTE: this course can be completed as a self study on ones' own time. We are simply meeting to collaborate and complete this test as a group for support. Any questions prior to this training, please contact your DLM district test coordinator or Laura Swanick at Lswanick@nssed.org.
Learning Objectives: Participants will 1) view refresher course videos to learn the DLM-AA 2) take refresher course tests to show knowledge 3) share suggestions, questions/concerns re: DLM-AA
