APS Presents: The Eighteenth Annual Best Practice Awards

NSSED’s Association of Parents and Staff (APS) will be recognizing outstanding school and community initiatives that bring together students of all abilities to learn, play, create or socialize. The Seventeenth Annual Best Practice Awards will be held at North Shore Academy on May 28, 2019 at 4:15 pm and will celebrate school and community programs that show innovation in areas such as learning, advocacy, partnership, recreation and social integration.

On this evening we will also be awarding the The Dave Peterson Outstanding Educator Award. This award recognizes an individual educator or administrator who displays an exemplary commitment to the inherent possibilities of all learners. The Award was established by NSSED’s Association of Parents and Staff (APS) in tribute to retired NSSED Superintendent Dave Peterson and is given annually to individuals who exemplify the positive values and ideals characterized by his tenure.
